I've been photographing weddings on Long Island for 12 years, and if there's one thing I've learned in that time, it's that the best photos happen when people forget the camera is there. So that's my job on your wedding day. Not just capturing the moment, but making you comfortable enough to actually be in it.
I hear this a lot from couples, especially the ones who tell me upfront they're camera-shy or don't know what to do with their hands: by the end of the day, they forgot they were even being photographed. I'm there early, I'm paying attention to the small things you didn't even know you wanted captured, and I'm still there at the end of the night running the photo booth while your guests let loose.
